Like their wild ancestors,
Bengal kittens go through a period of time where their coat colors are
muted. In the wild, this is a defence mechanism used to hide the
Asian Leopard cubs from predators. In the Bengal, this stage is called
the Ugly Fuzzy stage. The kittens will grow out of this and believe
me, it is well worth the wait. The true colors of a well bred Bengal
should be rich and vibrant.
